About the team and role:
The Team Leader is responsible for supervising the team who conduct all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial administration for a large government organisation.
The team is supportive, dedicated, diverse, and get along really well with each other.
You will report to the director, and have a Team Coordinator, both of whom will provide support to you in this role.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Set service level goals and monitor their performance.
- Ensuring that the team is motivated, trained and encouraged to perform at the best of their abilities.
- Report on operational progress for internal management and for OIA requests.
- Assist in the conduct of internal and external audits.
- Work with the team manager to identify areas or risk or opportunities for development and processes to amend these.
About you:
We are looking for someone who...
- Has experience leading a larger team
- Has experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Recievable
- Understands government audit standards
- Has worked with GST
If you have experience with SAP and/or purchasing that would be beneficial, but not a requirement
