ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Engineer to support quality assurance across a portfolio of complex projects.
You will ensure projects comply with established development and quality processes, meet key milestones and deliver against customer and contractual requirements. Working closely with Project Managers, engineering teams and customers, you will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout the project lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure compliance with project development processes and key milestones, including KO, PDR, CDR and FAT.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and customer project reviews.
• Manage the configuration and quality of project deliverables.
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and Control Plans.
• Organise and facilitate Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for customer projects.
• Ensure customer, contractual and regulatory quality requirements are met.
• Lead investigations into project quality issues and non-conformances.
• Coordinate 8D problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Capture lessons learned and manage return-of-experience activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality systems and project development processes.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have:
• Experience in project quality, quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Experience working within structured project development or engineering environments.
• Knowledge of quality management processes, Quality Plans and Control Plans.
• Experience with FATs, project reviews and milestone governance.
• Strong knowledge of non-conformance management and 8D problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
