We're partnering with a well-respected organisation to recruit a Service Manager who is ready to lead a dedicated team within a 24-hour forensic mental health facility in Wellington. This will be a permanent position, Monday to Friday working 8:30am-5.00pm

 About the Role:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of dedicated professionals.
• Creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
• Supporting tangata whaiora with complex forensic mental health needs as they transition successfully into the community.
• Providing expert clinical guidance and promoting best practice across services.
• Managing day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, healthcare providers, and community partners.

 About You:

• A Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Management, or a related discipline.
• Current registration with the relevant professional body and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Leadership or management experience within health, mental health, disability, addiction, forensic, or social services.
• Strong coaching, people leadership, and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A genuine commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred practice.
• A Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Current NZ Working Rights.
