The opportunity:
Our client is a leading litigation and dispute resolution law firm based in Auckland Central with a strong reputation across the country. They are seeking a Staff Solicitor with two to five years' PQE to join their busy litigation team.
This is a permanent full time role Monday to Friday based in the office. There are many perks about the role including a free gym to use on site!
You'll manage a varied caseload of civil claims, including building defect cases, unit title disputes, and public works matters. Day to day responsibilites include running your own files, handling discovery, preparing briefs of evidence and assisting with interlocutory hearings and trials.

Minimum skills and experience required:
- 2-5 years PQE
- Have strong academics
- Excellent written and analytical skills
- Have the motivation to deliver high-quality legal services to clients
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
- A strong work ethic – balancing work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapid robust relationships with clients
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
