Network Specialist
Location: Auckland

We are looking for an experienced Network Specialist to deliver key upgrades and enhancements across a large, complex enterprise environment. This role involves supporting system refreshes, managing a wide range of network endpoints, and driving improvements in resilience, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver network upgrade and refresh projects across multiple business sites.
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud network environments.
- Implement endpoint upgrades including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Ensure security, performance optimisation, and high availability of network services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on integration.
- Provide technical troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering network projects and large endpoint rollouts.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
- Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or hybrid) and network security expertise.
- Exposure to SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and NAC solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications.
- ITIL or CompTIA Network+/Security+.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
