Cloud Architect – 6 Month Contract
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Cloud Architect for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable and secure cloud solutions, providing technical leadership to delivery teams, and helping shape the overall cloud strategy. You will support initiatives across cloud and infrastructure technology domains, contributing to the maturity of cloud platforms and practices within several large-scale transformational programmes.
This is a delivery-focused contract role with clear accountability for architectural decisions, stakeholder engagement, and architecture outputs. Key projects include Azure Landing Zone platform deployment, Infrastructure as Code, cloud migrations, cloud rationalisation, and optimisation of hybrid shared infrastructure services.
About You
You are a strategic thinker and hands-on technologist who thrives in complex environments. You are passionate about cloud architecture, enjoy solving challenging problems, mentoring teams, and driving innovation. You are delivery-focused, collaborative, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
You Bring:
8+ years’ experience across multiple IT roles within enterprises, including 4+ years in Cloud / Infrastructure Architecture.
Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure, including hybrid and edge deployments within complex organisations.
Experience with large-scale cloud migrations.
Experience within an OT / Manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Experience with Oracle / SAP solutions is beneficial.
