Role: Duty Manager – Shopping Centre Operations

Type: Part time- Temp

Start date: Mid June

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Duty Manager to support the smooth and safe operation of a busy shopping centre. This role is ideal for someone with a background in facilities, operations, or property management who is looking for consistent part-time hours, including evening and weekend shifts.

Shift Details:

• Thursday & Friday – Evening shifts
• Weekend availability required

About the Role:
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager to ensure the efficient, safe, and effective delivery of operational services across the centre. You will act as the main point of contact during your shifts, ensuring all functions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement security protocols to maintain a safe environment for customers, tenants, and staff
• Monitor access control, surveillance systems, and respond to incidents as required
• Log and follow up on maintenance requests and retailer concerns through to resolution
• Support compliance requirements including reporting, audits, and training
• Supervise and coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and security teams
• Maintain hazard registers and assist with risk and insurance audits

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar facilities, operations, or property management role
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff on shift
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Reliable and flexible, with availability for evening and weekend shifts
