Salary: $70,000 to $82,000 total remuneration (inclusive of employer KiwiSaver contribution), dependent on skills and experience.

Our client is seeking a Development Programme Officer to join a collaborative team supporting the design and delivery of New Zealand’s international development investments across the Pacific by contributing to programme delivery, procurement, activity and finance management across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional, or experienced project coordinator looking to develop their skills in programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and international development.
About the Role
You'll provide operational and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of development programmes, helping ensure activities are delivered effectively and in line with established processes and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting programme design and business case development
- Coordinating procurement, contracting and due diligence activities
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring
- Providing advice on programme management processes and systems
- Supporting project managers and advisers with activity delivery
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
You may come from a project coordination, programme support, administration or junior advisory background and will have strong process management skills.
You'll bring:
- Relevant project coordination, support or administration experience
- Strong process, organisational and coordination skills
- Experience with process, contract, procurement and finance management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders with the ability to influence
- Experience supporting projects, programmes or operational delivery
- An interest in international development and a willingness to learn
