We are looking for several experienced contractors to join a high-profile public sector assurance programme supporting complex information review, Official Information Act (OIA) processes, and organisational assurance activities.

This is an opportunity to work on fast-paced, high-profile work requiring sound judgement, exceptional analytical capability and the ability to navigate sensitive information and competing priorities.

The Opportunity

Working within a specialist team, you'll review and analyse complex information, identify key issues and risks, and provide high-quality advice and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Your work will include:

• Reviewing and analysing large and complex information sets
• Identifying key themes, risks and information gaps
• Supporting OIA requests and information release processes
• Preparing concise analysis, briefings and recommendations
• Assessing legal, privacy, operational and reputational risks
• Working closely with senior stakeholders on sensitive matters

About You

You'll bring experience in one or more of the following:

• Official Information Act (OIA) advice
• Information management or information analysis
• Investigations or inquiries
• Assurance, audit or risk
• Ministerial servicing
• Regulatory or compliance environments

You'll also have:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written communication and report writing ability
• Experience working with complex and sensitive information
• Sound judgement and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
