Job Title: Carpenter with Concrete Experience

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter with concreting experience to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate is versatile, hands-on, and confident working across both carpentry and concrete-related tasks on residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret building plans and specifications

• Construct and install formwork, framing, and timber structures

• Carry out concrete works including prep, pouring, screeding, and finishing

• Install reinforcement and boxing for slabs and footings

• Assist in cladding, gib fixing, and structural repairs

• Operate hand and power tools efficiently

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in both carpentry and concrete work
• Knowledge of formwork systems and concrete finishing techniques
• Comfortable with residential and/or commercial builds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Sound understanding of health and safety practices
• Physically fit and reliable

Preferred Candidates:

• Similar experience
• With own tools, Site Safe and transport
• Candidates must be based in New Zelaand with valid work rights
