Carpenter – Frame & Truss

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter with frame and truss expertise to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry work on residential and/or commercial projects, ensuring structural accuracy and compliance with building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber frames and trusses
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with other trades and site staff to meet project timelines
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter (frame and truss experience required)
• Strong understanding of building plans and technical drawings
• Valid Site Safe (preferred but not essential)
• Must have own tools and reliable transport
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Eligible to work in New Zealand (NZ Citizen, Resident, or Open Work Visa)
