We are seeking a reliable and dedicated professional to provide individualised support to clients living with high and complex needs in their own homes across Aucklands North Shore, South Auckland and Central locations. This role is ideal for someone with strong community-based experience and a calm, focused approach in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to clients in their homes and communities

• Assist with daily personal care routines, including for non-verbal individuals

• Support clients during and after seizures, following established seizure management plans

• Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life through person-centred care

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Peer Support Work or related field

• Proven experience working with non-verbal clients

• Strong seizure management experience

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in high-stress or emergency situations

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Punctual, professional, and dependable

• Experience working in community settings and client homes

• Have availablilty to cover various shifts throughout the week.

This is a very intense support role and only those with valid working rights in NZ and the required qualifications and experience will be considered.
