About the role

Working within a quality and assurance function, you'll lead the design and implementation of new frameworks and operational processes that will strengthen organisational capability and support strategic priorities. You'll work closely with senior leaders, governance groups, and experienced board members, requiring a confident, credible, and politically astute approach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of strategic programme initiatives.
• Develop and implement fit-for-purpose frameworks and operating processes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior executives, board members, and key stakeholders.
• Provide expert programme leadership across a complex organisational environment.
• Drive programme governance, risk management, and successful delivery outcomes.
• Influence decision-making and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.

About you

You'll bring:

• Proven experience operating as a Programme Director or in a comparable senior programme leadership role.
• Extensive experience delivering large, complex transformation or strategic programmes.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with boards, executive leaders, and governance groups.
• Strong political acumen and the ability to build credibility quickly.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Experience within the public sector or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
