Are you a skilled Project Manager with experience setting up new sites? We’re working with a leading private healthcare provider preparing to open a brand-new satellite facility on Auckland’s North Shore and they need a capable hand to bring it all together.
This is your chance to take the lead on a high-impact project, helping launch a critical new site that will make a real difference in patients’ lives.
About the Role
As the Project Manager, you'll play a central role in the operational set-up of the new site. From logistics to leadership to stakeholder engagement, you’ll help ensure a smooth and successful facility launch—on time and on budget.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing staff, juggling multiple priorities, and working cross-functionally with key healthcare and executive stakeholders.
This is a 4 month contract starting in June and there is flexibility for this to be part time or full time hours!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of the site launch, including logistics, planning, and team coordination
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to manage timelines, budgets, and workstreams aligned with the master project roadmap
- Oversee the implementation of a refreshed brand identity and all launch-related marketing initiatives
- Coordinate stakeholder communication materials and execute launch events and engagement activities
- Ensure equipment, systems, and facilities are operational and ready for go-live
- Track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates across stakeholders
- Support with procurement, installation, training coordination, and operational readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Proven project management experience—ideally with site launches or facility openings
- Experience leading teams and coordinating across departments
- Strong organisational skills with sharp attention to timelines and detail
- Marketing or event launch experience is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with the NZ healthcare sector and an understanding of clinical environments is advantageous but those without this will still be considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A solution-focused, calm-under-pressure mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Bonus points if you have a formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP).
