Based just outside Te Kuiti | Otorohanga

Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday | 4am – 4pm | Excellent Pay + Overtime

We’re looking for a highly motivated Operator who is ready to work hard, muck in, and get the job done. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role suited to someone who turns up fit, reliable, and raring to go every day. This is a 4 month assignment starting end of June.

You’ll start in the PLS Plant, with genuine opportunity to become multi-skilled across other areas of the operation.

About the Role

Initially based in the PLS Plant, your core duties will include:

• Operating the bagging machine
• Bagging and stacking 25kg bags
• Forklift operation
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and plant cleanliness
• Working safely and efficiently to meet production targets

This is a Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday role, 4am–4pm, offering great remuneration including overtime rates.

Requirements

• Full clean Class 1 driver’s licence
• OSH Forklift Certificate (essential)
• Previous quarry, plant, or industrial experience is an advantage but not essential for the right attitude
• Two recent favourable references from your previous supervisors
• Pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical checks
• Clear Ministry of Justice background check
