Senior Project Manager – Digital & Standards Enablement

A large public-sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver two customer-facing digital initiatives with national reach.

This role suits a confident delivery professional who can operate in a complex environment, work with experienced stakeholders, and take projects from early funding stages through to delivery and handover.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading two concurrent projects:

Sponsored International Standards Access (SISA)
This initiative will deliver a capability enabling users to access selected international standards free of charge. You will urgently progress a Project Brief to support funding for a business case, then lead the project through delivery and transition.

Public Consultation Tool (PCT)
This project focuses on enhancing an existing public consultation platform to improve user experience. You will initiate and deliver the project end-to-end, including handover.

The role requires strong planning, prioritisation, and management of dependencies, with time split across both initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of two concurrent projects
• Develop and progress project briefs and business case inputs
• Manage RFP and procurement processes
• Oversee software development and vendor delivery
• Manage CRM integrations and technical dependencies
• Engage and influence senior business stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, and interdependencies
• Ensure successful delivery, handover, and transition to business-as-usual

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects as a Project Manager
• Proven experience managing RFP and procurement processes
• Experience delivering software development projects
• Experience with CRM integrations
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
• Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to deliver under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with senior and experienced stakeholders
• A collaborative leadership style and proactive, solutions-focused mindset
