We are seeking an Early Equipment Management: Reliability Engineer to support global capital projects and existing assets by embedding reliability and asset management principles early in the equipment lifecycle.

About the Role

You will provide reliability leadership and subject matter expertise to ensure new capital builds and existing assets are delivered with robust maintenance and asset management strategies. Working closely with Capital Projects, Operations, Maintenance teams and external stakeholders, you will help ensure assets are operationally and maintenance-ready before handover, maximising reliability, reducing lifecycle costs, and minimising business risk. The role focuses on embedding reliability and asset management principles early in the equipment lifecycle to support long-term asset performance and sustainable operational outcomes.

About You

Experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, asset management, maintenance planning or operational engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Understanding of reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), risk-based asset management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment manuals and maintenance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across project, maintenance and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of maintenance and reliability programs for new and existing assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Conduct asset criticality and risk assessments to inform maintenance, reliability and spare parts strategies.
• Review technical documentation and equipment information to ensure operational and maintenance readiness.
• Support the development of spare parts, bill of materials and asset information structures within maintenance management systems.
• Work closely with project teams, vendors and site stakeholders to ensure assets are designed, installed and commissioned for long-term reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset performance, reduce lifecycle costs and improve equipment reliability.
