Our client is on a mission to improve the wellbeing of the community—and we’re looking for an individual experienced in procurement to help them get there.

This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end procurement and P2P processes, driving improvements that make buying easier, faster, and fully compliant across the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of procurement operating practises and systems
  • Configure and optimise procurement systems with a user-first focus
  • Develop tools, templates, and guidance that simplify procurement
  • Deliver training and coaching to uplift capability across the organisation
  • Ensure strong integrity, supplier risk management, and compliance
  • Drive adoption of new ways of working through effective change leadership

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in large, complex business organisations
  • Strong background in e-procurement, contract management, or workflow systems
  • Proven experience leading and embedding change programmes
  • Practical approach - focussed on outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Change management expertise (Prosci, ADKAR, or similar)

An understanding of local government practises would be preferred, however is not essential.
