Are you an experienced accountant on the lookout for a new challenge? Want to join a well-known organisation in Hamilton’s CBD? Our client is looking for a qualified accountant to provide quality support and advice to assist them in achieving their strategic and operational objectives.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Month end reporting
- Reviewing month end results for issues and variances
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Strategic financial analysis and advice
- Identifying, developing and monitoring cost reduction initiatives
The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant or hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
What you will bring to the team
- At least 3 years’ business experience – specifically within strategic business or decision support
- Sound knowledge of financial and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
