We are looking for an experienced credit controller who has at least 2 years credit control experience in New Zealand. The credit controller will be responsible for all aspects of the credit control function and reducing overdue debt. Based on the North side of Hamilton, there is an option to work from home one day per week.
The credit controller is responsible for a specific group of small to medium-sized customers.
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader key areas of accountability include:
- Full credit control function
- Setting monthly cash targets and providing weekly cash forecasting
- Completing credit limit and risk assessment reviews
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Disputes resolutions
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, however is not essential.
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven credit control experience
- Sound knowledge of accounting procedures
- Previous experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- High level attention to details and accuracy
- The ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
Although this is initially a 3-month contract, there is potential for this to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
