If you’ve been wanting to step in to your first Supply Chain Manager role, or you simply are ready for a fresh challenge, this role is worth considering.  Working with a team of highly successful and capable leaders, you will report to the Operations Manager, and whilst no two days will be the same, the core functions of this position are:

  • Managing the movement of all product across all freight lanes
  • Overseeing sales and operational planning requirements from supply to market demand
  • Negotiating, liaising with and monitoring the well-established supplier network
  • Ensuring value and accuracy in all aspects of delivery to the end customer or 3PL warehouse
  • Continuous improvement of supply chain processes, systems and value add opportunities

The ideal person will offer:

  • A well-rounded supply chain background
  • Previous experience in dairy, infant formula or food manufacturing
  • Experience in a ‘make to order’ business
  • Past exposure to China, and preferably US markets
  • Strong working knowledge of export documentation and processes
  • Attention to detail and IT savviness
