If you’ve been wanting to step in to your first Supply Chain Manager role, or you simply are ready for a fresh challenge, this role is worth considering. Working with a team of highly successful and capable leaders, you will report to the Operations Manager, and whilst no two days will be the same, the core functions of this position are:
- Managing the movement of all product across all freight lanes
- Overseeing sales and operational planning requirements from supply to market demand
- Negotiating, liaising with and monitoring the well-established supplier network
- Ensuring value and accuracy in all aspects of delivery to the end customer or 3PL warehouse
- Continuous improvement of supply chain processes, systems and value add opportunities
The ideal person will offer:
- A well-rounded supply chain background
- Previous experience in dairy, infant formula or food manufacturing
- Experience in a ‘make to order’ business
- Past exposure to China, and preferably US markets
- Strong working knowledge of export documentation and processes
- Attention to detail and IT savviness
