As part of the Oceania group, and reporting to the Planning & Logistics Director, this position is responsible for ensuring the continual optimisation of service levels and inventory values/days. Driving improvements and planning & logistics initiatives will be a key part of this position, as will monitoring logistics operational costs and delivery. Effectively leading people, processes and resources will assist in building collaborative relationships across the large network of internal and external customers.
Key functions will be varied and will include:
- Managing supplier performance and costs
- Leading, developing and coaching a high performing team
- Accurate planning and logistics forecasting
- Monitoring service level agreements
- High level relationship management
- Financial management including budgeting and monthly reporting
- Supporting company Health and Safety policies and practices
The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad range of well-developed skills and experience, including advanced logistics, demand & inventory planning, and order fulfilment knowledge. Your commitment to continuous improvement will impress, as will your collaborative approach to achieving success. Leadership will be a passion of yours, and your experience in building strong cohesive teams will be one of your greatest achievements. Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred.
