Six month fixed term contract approximately

Our client is based on the north side of Hamilton. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this position focusses on the day to day management of financial structures, including monthly and annual system variable updates, rolling out finance system upgrades and monitoring key system alerts.  In addition you will be involved in system analysis and development, overseeing budget model upgrades, managing financial databases and developing & improving systems, processes and work practices.  Additionally, you will support the finance team, assisting with the set up of business plans, and complex modelling. 

The preferred candidate will demonstrate:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong systems accounting experience
• Sound knowledge of different financial systems (TechOne experience an advantage)
• High level analytical skills and experience
• Previous project experience
• High levels of innovation and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and planning ability
