We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Waikato or Manawatu branch.  Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cost estimation and budgeting
• Preparing tender documents
• Assisting with contract administration
• Tracking project costs and reporting
• Identifying and managing financial risks
• Site visits and measurements
• Client and supplier liaison

We would like to hear from Quantity Surveyors with 2-7+ years’ experience in construction.  In addition, you will ideally offer several of the following attributes:

• A tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or similar
• A strong understanding of construction processes, cost control and projects
• Proven experience with tendering, procurement and contract administration
• Excellent knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting
• Knowledge of construction software and MS Excel
• Familiarity of New Zealand building codes, regulations and industry standards
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
