At INEX, they’re proud of the work they do - and just as proud of how they do it.

Our client, INEX, is New Zealand's leading aluminium extruder, proudly based in Te Rapa, Hamilton. For more than 25 years, they've been supplying high-quality aluminium products used in buildings, infrastructure, transport and everyday products across New Zealand and Australia.

INEX has built its reputation not only on the quality of its products, but on the people behind them. The business takes pride in doing the basics well, supporting one another and fostering a culture built on teamwork, respect and accountability. Employees are encouraged to contribute, continue learning and take pride in the role they play in the company's success.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful New Zealand business where you'll be exposed to the full employee lifecycle and continue developing your career alongside experienced HR professionals. Joining INEX means becoming part of a well-established New Zealand manufacturer where people genuinely look out for one another and everyone plays an important part in achieving shared goals.

What you'll be doing

You'll be a trusted advisor on day-to-day people matters while building your capability across recruitment, employee relations, HR operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Prepare employment agreements, position descriptions and a range of HR documentation
  • Partner with managers and employees to provide practical HR guidance and advice
  • Assist with performance management, employee relations and disciplinary processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and employee documentation
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies, systems and people practices

About you

You'll be someone who thrives on solving problems, providing practical support and helping both managers and employees succeed. With around 2–3 years' experience in a generalist HR, recruitment or people support role, you'll be a confident communicator who quickly establishes credibility, works collaboratively with managers and knows when to seek guidance on more complex matters. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you can balance competing priorities, produce accurate documentation and handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Why INEX?

They’re building a reputation as a great employer in the Waikato - through action, not promises. Their people stay because they’re respected, supported and proud of the work they do.

INEX know that being a good employer means more than just turning up to be paid. At INEX, their benefits include:

  • Free Southern Cross health insurance
  • Life and income protection insurance
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Habit Health+ access and EAP
  • PERKS staff rewards and discounts
  • Service recognition rewards
  • Ongoing training, development and progression opportunities

If you're ready to take the next step in your HR career and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
