James Atkin

A bit about me:

With over 7 years experience in the recruitment industry, providing account management and resource delivery solutions to a variety of public and private sector clients in the UK; I have learned that the key to success in this industry is building strong, long term relationships through collaborative working, effective communication and consistent delivery. 

With a focus on Professional Services, I have experience recruiting for a mixture of contract and permanent roles at various levels. 

My industry and sector experience includes Local & National Government, Utilities, Financial Services, IT, Digital, Technology Startups and Consultancy.

What attracted me to the Johnson Group initially was their excellent reputation in the local market and the fantastic like minded people that I’m getting the chance to work with.

I recruit in the contracting space at The Johnson Group, and I'm looking forward to working with the team to deliver an excellent service to the Public Sector here in Wellington.

When he's not working:

Having recently moved to Wellington from Edinburgh, Scotland, James is settling into life here and enjoying exploring a new city and a new country. 

We're told that the highlights so far have been catching the end of the British & Irish Lions tour, getting the chance to travel and explore different parts of NZ, meeting new people, and sampling all the craft beers! 

James enjoys travelling, and is looking forward to exploring more of New Zealand. He's a rugby enthusiast, and we think he's pretty awesome!
